It may look like it only adds up to 153, but 265 nights is the real answer!
Rudy just walked into the kitchen and announced that as of tonight, he will have slept outside for 265 nights. He has 100 nights to go!
This means that we have a lot of work to do. So far, thanks to many of you, about $2,000 has been donated to help make the world a better place. His goal is to raise $10,000 for both Habitat for Humanity and Hawk Ridge Bird Observatory. Together we can make this happen. So, if you feel comfortable sharing this with your family, friends, co-workers, etc, please do! Rudy has some interviews coming up and some events planned, but it will still take a lot for him to meet his goals for helping both people and nature in need.
We now have a Facebook page! Look for Rudy at Snore Outdoors on Facebook. We are figuring out how to easily add blog posts and we will put up media stories along with other tidbits. Share and Likes will be really helpful. Hmmm… maybe we can find some matching donations for the number of likes we get on Facebook or some such thing. We will look into that.
It’s a snowing, blowing, freezing cold kind of night. Good thing Rudy will be nicely tucked away in his quinzhee.
